Frequently Asked Questions for Your Next Orlando Vacation
 

Q.  Is the home I see on the website the one I’ll be renting?
A.  Yes.  The home you see, the home on your rental agreement is the one you’ll open the door for.
 
Q.  How do I place a reservation for the home, condo, townhome we choose?
 A.  Once you decide which property you’d like for your trip you can choose one of two ways to book your home.  You can pick up the phone and call us at  888-863-9543, or place your reservation directly online.

Q.  How much is the deposit?
 A.  To reserve your home, we require a non-refundable 20% of the total rental cost.

Q.  When is the final balance due?
 A.  The final balance is due 60 days before your arrival date.

Q.  Can I combine discounts?
 A.  No, we are sorry but only one discount or special can applied to your reservation.

Q.  What is check-in & check-out time?
 A.  Check in is after 4 p.m.  We want everyone to have a wonderful vacation and that everyone is clean and in good working order.  This is especially important when we have cross over guests, we need to get the house in order for you.  If you’d like an early check-in we can arrange it for 10 am when available.  An additional fee of $125.00 will be added to guarantee availability.

Q.  Do you offer travel insurance?
 A.  Travel insurance is available through our provider, CSA Travel Protection.  Travel Insurance must be purchased prior to your final payment.  We encourage you to purchase trip insurance to protect you against interruption or cancellation of your trip.  Click here to receive a quote or purchase travel insurance directly from CSA

Q.  What is the property protection fee?
 A.  There is a Property Protection fee for each booking.  This is a damage waiver that will cover accidental damages.  Please be aware that intentional damages or negligence will result in additional costs.

Q. What is the cancellation policy?
 A.  Cancellations must be writing.  The deposit is non-refundable and cancellations within the 60 days of arrival will result in a loss of all payments.  If you purchased travel insurance, please call them for your claim.

Q. Does Magical Orlando Resorts require a minimum stay?
 A.  It depends on the house and the owner but a rule of thumb is a 3-day minimum day except for Christmas, New Years and Easter which is a 7-day  minimum.  Just ask us!

Q.  When will I receive my confirmation and arrival instructions?
 A.  All confirmation and arrival instructions will be sent via email.  You will receive a confirmation within 24 hours of your reservation.  You will be sent arrival instructions 7 days prior to your arrival.  If you have not received these documents, please call or email us.

Q. What do we need to do when we check-out?
A.  Wash and put all dishes washed or put in dishwasher and run it.
      Empty refrigerator and all foods, take all trash out.
      Remove bed linens and place all towels and linens by the washer. 
      Check all drawers, closets and under the beds for personal items. 
      Check the washer and dryer for clothes.
      Close all windows and doors and lock them
      Set the A/C to 78 degrees.  In the Winter set to 68

Q. What are Magical Orlando Resorts office hours?
A.  Monday – Friday 8 am – 5 pm    Phone Number:  407-705-3070 during office hours only.   
      After Hours and Saturday / Sundays – If this is regarding your booking or making a new booking, just leave a message or email and we will get back to  you.
      If this is regarding a problem at your vacation home and it is an emergency, call 863-326-7900 (you will get the answering machine, but LEAVE a  message).  Emergencies are any major appliance, A/C, heat, hot water heater, refrigerator, stove or electrical malfunctions, serious illness, etc.
 
Q.   Are the kitchens fully equipped?
 A.  The homes are fully equipped with the following:  refrigerator, freezer, oven, range, microwave and dishwasher.  All kitchens also have a toaster, coffeemaker, cookware, pots and pans, dishes, glasses and utensils.
 
Q.  Is there a washer / dryer in the home?
 A.  Each property comes with a full sized washer and dryer, iron and ironing board.
 
Q.   Do I need pool heat?
 A.  If you want a heated spa, you’ll need pool heat.  The spas are not independent of the pool heating system.
 
Q.  How hot will the pool be if I purchase pool heat?
 A.  The temperature will affect the pool temp even with pool heat but it will be heated between 80-86 degrees.  When the spa is turned on the heat from the  pool is diverted to the spa, the pool will cool down.
 
Q.  Will the pool cool down overnigh
 A.  Yes.  The pool heaters are on timers and they are set to come on in the morning and off in the evening.  In the winter it’s difficult to keep the pools warm, the air temperature affects the ability of the heaters to keep up when the air temperature is below 40 degrees.  When its cold, there is no way the heaters  can keep up and keep the pools warm.   This is outside of our control and is not a mechanical failure but rather an act of nature.  No refunds will be given for problems that are due to cold weather.
 
Q.  What do I need to bring with me?
 A.  It is the guest responsibility to bring soap, dish soap, dishwasher soap, toilet paper and trash bags.  You also need to bring your own toiletry items such as shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothpaste, razors.
 
Q. Do you allow pets?
A.  We do have homes that are pet friendly.  If you want to bring along your furry friend, ask us which homes allow them.  There is a $500 fee if a pet is brought into a non-pet friendly home.
 
Q.  Are the homes cleaned daily?
 A.  Our homes are cleaned before you arrive and after you depart.  You may request a mid-stay clean for an additional cleaning fee.   
 
Q.  What if we need …….
 A.  a stroller, crib, car seat, pack n play, high chair… or anything else we can’t take on the plane with us?  Just ask us.  We can make arrangements for these items to be delivered to your vacation rental for a fee.
